Yes, the devices can charge and discharge simultaneously.
Is the Volta 40 waterproof?
No, the Volta 40 product model is not waterproof.
Once I order my Volta 40, how long will delivery take?
We aim to get your Volta 40 to you as quickly as possible. We rely on couriers for deliveries but you should receive your Volta 40 within 10 working days from acceptance of your order depending on the delivery address.
What happens if my Volta 40 stops working?
We are responsible for making sure your Volta 40 works. Please contact the Stage Zero team via the support call centre or log a ticket via our customer portal and we will facilitate a replacement unit should there be no damage due to abuse or neglect.
Do I own the Volta 40 at the end of the contract?
The Volta 40 always remains the property of Stage Zero. Once your contract expires, you may either choose to renew your contract for an extended period or cancel your existing contract.
How does Stage Zero's return policy work for the Volta 40?
Our courier company will arrange to come and collect your device from you. Also refer to our Cancellation and Returns policy

Does the Volta 40 need to be completely flat before charging again or can I keep it plugged in to charge when I have power?
You can keep it charging when you have power.
How long can I run my router and ONT only on my Volta 40?
On average you should be able to run these devices simultaneously for up to 2.5 hours
Can use my Volta 40 to charge my laptop?
No, the Volta 40 is not strong enough to charge a laptop. You would require a Volta 500, Volta 700 or higher.
What is the contract period for the Volta 40?
12 or 24 months, depending on the option you select.
What is the notice period to cancel my contract for the Volta 40?
You can cancel with 30 days’ notice via the Customer Portal.
What happens after I cancel my contract for the Volta 40?
We will either require you to return your Volta 40, or facilitate its collection.
Will there be a cancellation charge if I cancel my contract after the contract period for the Volta 40?
No. You are just responsible for the courier fees to return the Volta 40 to Stage Zero. (T’s & C’s Apply, the device has to be in a working condition or penalties will apply).
Yes, a cancellation fee of R250 incl. VAT will be payable as well as courier fees for the return of the Volta 40 to Stage Zero.
If you renew your contract and we identify a problem with your Volta 40, we will replace it. If not, your device may remain with you, until the agreement is cancelled.
Your Volta device will automatically take over and provide electricity to the connected devices.
